GUWAHATI, Aug 23: Assam Police, with the help of Bihar Police, today traced Jyoti Pathak and Shilpa Mahela, the two HS first year students of Handique Girls’ College in Guwahati, thus ending the drama and suspense over the mysterious disappearance of two girls.
According to police sources, the girls were found in Darbhanga in Bihar with two boys, Rahul Kumar Jha and Akash. The police team that had been sent to Bihar will bring back the four of them to Guwahati soon, said sources.
The two girls had disappeared suddenly a few days ago. Their parents filed an FIR at Panbazar PS that they had been kidnapped. However it is suspected that the two girls had eloped and not been kidnapped. THE SENTINEL
