Many of you may already be acquainted or familiar with singer Rabin Goswami who lives in Washington DC area. As a close friend of Rabin, I would like to take the liberty to announce the release of his new audio album ‘Sinaki Xuwodi Xur’ in the US.
The album by Rabin Goswami and his renowned co-singers was launched last Saturday (1/22/11) in Washington DC. The launch ceremony was hosted by Dr. Aroona Borpujari. The CD was formally opened by Labanya Borra. The program was well attended by members of DC Assamese community.
The CD recorded at Mumbai with music arrangement by Dhrubajyoti Phukan of Bollywood fame, has 8 golden assamese songs of yester years. Rabin has done a meticulous job of producing and rendering the songs with exceptional quality. The CD has already been released in Assam and received critical acclaims from the music lovers. The CD maybe obtained for a nominal price of $10 per copy plus $2 for shipping and handling. Rabin’s hard work will get due appreciation if each of you please order at least one copy and spread the word to friends and families.
