SILCHAR, Dec 5: Jawans of the BSF along with the Special Narcotic Cell of Aizawl apprehended a Mizo miscreant Rualzathanga (19) of Chamdur village under Bungtlang police station. The personnel conducted a search operation at Zemabawk forest check gate under Bawngkawn police station and nabbed the youth who was earlier suspected to be a Bangladeshi miscreant.
Some arms and amunition were recovered from his possession which include an OG gun, 9 mm single barrel, magazine OG gun single barrel and a box of explosive materials. Sources said the arms and ammunition were being smuggled by him from Myanmar for delivery to other parts in Northeast. An FIR was lodged by BSF at Bawngkawn police station against the arrested youth. Rualzathanga was later on handed over to the police for further investigation and initiating legal action against him. THE SENTINEL
