Drunken youth drowned at Samshanghat

Silchar, Oct 18: A heavily drunk youth was drowned to death in the pond of Silchar Samshanghat in the wee hours on Sunday . The youth has been identified as Tridip Deb, 23, son of Dilip Kumar Deb, a retired bank employee and resident at Udayan Complex, Das colony. Tridip was the former general secretary of GC College. After post-mortem, the body of the youth has been handed over to his family. THE SENTINEL
