KOKRAJHAR, Sep 1: BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary launched a new website, www.bodoland.in, at the Secretariat conference hall today. The new website will contain all information including developmental activities, in an attempt to bring more transparency.
In his brief speech, Mohilary said the new website will reflect all the developmental activities of the BTC and its planning for effective growth and development. He said the projects under Rs 500 crore BTC package and other Central assistance for development would be highlighted in the website with fact and figures for public information. The website would be regularly updated, he added.
The website carries important data of various departments, official and tourist information, besides, news on day-to-day happenings.
The launch programme was attended by BTC EMS Derhasat Basumatary, Lwmsrao Daimary, Lakhiram Tudu, Secretary Prafulla Kumar Hazariy and Rahela Brahma, Joint Secretary Manju Mala Brahma, Under Secretary Anitya Brahma and others. THE SENTINEL
