Eligibility:

The students who have successfully passed the STD XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board with English as a subject can apply for admission. Students appearing for their board exams in the current year are also eligible subject to successfully qualifying in the board examination.

Selection: The admissions are granted to the students based on their performance in the written entrance examination held at selected places. Limited seats are also available in NRI/Management quota which can be allotted to the deserving candidates without entrance examination on the basis of percentage in qualifying exam & personal interviews.

A.      The 'Objective' type written examination is held to test the candidates in the following:

B.      Ability in reasoning and logical deductions.

C.      Numerical Ability.

D.      Proficiency in written and oral English.

E.       General Awareness.

IHM Mumbai is situated in Dadar, Mumbai, India. The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, the first of its kind in South East Asia was founded in the year 1954 by the All India Women’s Central Food Council under the leadership of Late Smt. Lilavati Munshi.
