Indian Oil chairman inaugurates retail outlet

DIGBOI, Nov 18: In a bid to modernize and to upgrade retail outlets as a part of the commitment of Indian Oil towards the Northeast, the M/s Makum Motors, Digboi, which is the oldest Indian Oil retail outlet in Upper Assam was  formally inaugurated recently. Indian Oil chairman Sarthak Behuria inaugurated the retail outlet.

North East Integrated office general manager A Pandian, while delivering his keynote address, said that the IOC’s logistics infrastructure in the NE are also being augmented to meet the increasing demands. IOC Assam Oil Division (AOD) executive director Subrato Ghosh, who accompanied the chairman, also spoke on the occasion.

According to Ghosh, the integration and amalgamation of the marketing function of AOD and the marketting division of IOC on NE has made the occasion possible.
